Dan Witchell — Creative DirectorReadClose
Dan graduated from Camberwell with his work already published in Creative Review. After a period of freelancing he created an identity for which he won a Gold BDA before moving into retail design, with Conran Design Group. He then spent 3 years as Creative Director of a broadcast design company, before establishing Proud Creative in 2005.
As a founder of Kemistry Gallery in Shoreditch, Dan can take credit for breaking Parra in the UK, whilst also bringing over Geoff McFetridge, Gregory Gilbert-Lodge and Experimental Jetset, not to mention his support of homegrown talent - UVA, Daniel Eatock and James Joyce of One Fine Day.
Design jury duties have included Promax and more recently D&AD and The Cannes Lions.
Roger Whittlesea — Head of ProductionReadClose
Roger began his production career in commercials, working with Richard Phillips, the multi-award winning writer/director of the Maureen Lipman BT campaign. Having survived 5 years of working with Richard with sanity largely intact, producing for anyone else has often seemed straightforward (if occasionally less 'interesting').
He has subsequently gone on to gain 10 years production experience in commercials, pop promos, branding and design - with responsibility for budgeting, scheduling and facilitating productions with budgets from £10k to £950k. He has produced five overseas channel re-brands in the last few years and has had work awarded at the Cannes Lions, Soho Shorts, Promax UK and D&AD.
Alison Haigh — DesignerReadClose
Alison graduated from Brighton University in 2009 with a BA in Graphic Design. She was chosen by Peter Saville to receive the Best Newcomer Award at the Grafik Design Awards 2010.
Having interned at a number of respected design studios and gained experience outside the city, Alison joined Proud in September 2010.
Helen Rogers — Studio ManagerReadClose
Helen graduated from the University of Sussex with a degree in Anthropology, having spent a gap year studying art at Guildhall and another one traveling around South East Asia.
On moving back to London she worked at global creative advertising agency BBH, before joining the team here at Proud. Aside from work, Helen is a keen artist, people watcher and hockey player; currently captaining a ladies team at Wapping HC.
Joshua Baker — Technical Direction (Associate)ReadClose
Josh is a website architect, passionate technologist and regular collaborator with Proud Creative on digital development and online marketing projects.
He has a degree in photography and started as an intern at SHOWStudio, working with Nick Knight.
His technical knowledge is second to none and he invariably brings keen insight and judgement to the analysis of any brief. But what really sets him apart is his ability to communicate his ideas clearly; both in the studio and with clients.
